As the moon took its place in the sky on the nights of August 2nd and 3rd so did 500 drones hovering above SeatGeek Stadium. More than 4,000 attendees made themselves comfortable on their picnic blankets as they prepared for a high-end musical art performance like no other on the Bridgeview Sports Fields. The event proved so popular that the DroneArt Show returned to hold their performance inside the Stadium on September 27th, and those who missed the first show knew that this was their second chance to see the stunning musical and luminary display.

Spotlights hit the stage as a hush fell over the eager crowd. An eloquent string quartet began methodically strumming their instruments, sweeping the audience along a journey through compositions of legendary classical songs—Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” and Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake”.  As the music crescendoed, melodies brought glowing drones to life. Flickering lights formed surreal three-dimensional scenes that drew gasps from the onlookers. Bees landed on flowers, snowflakes glistened as they fell, and a magnificent swan flapped its wings amid the beautifully flowing songs. The vibrant colors painted pictures in the sky like nothing you’ve ever seen, and the perfect weather ensured a clear view of the ever-moving sights.

Food trucks, glowing candles, and soft pillows added to the cozy summer picnic feel that brought out so many families and friends from the area. The dazzling drone art and mesmerizing music concluded with thunderous applause, and the Village of Bridgeview thanks all who came out for making the DroneArt Show a magnificent time each and every night.
