The Bridgeview Lions Club, one of the oldest civic organizations in the community, joined the Summit and Justice Lions Clubs to host their annual Oktoberfest fundraiser at the Bridgeview Community Center. Over the years, the Bridgeview Lions Club has performed numerous acts of goodwill and charity for those in need. What does the Lions Club do? They sponsor sight programs, vision screenings, eye health education, health programs for diabetes prevention, youth volunteer opportunities, environmental programs, and hunger relief missions. Their decades of work have been made possible by kind-hearted community members and generous donations from residents and local businesses who believe in the Lions Club mission to serve others. The Oktoberfest celebration once again reaffirmed support for the civic organization and will help keep their work alive in our community.

Interested in helping your fellow residents? Lions President Margie Bonnar Strzemp is always looking for participants who care about serving their community and others. The Lions Club is an international organization dedicated to serving with uncommon kindness, putting the needs of our neighbors, our communities, and our world first.
