With the wonderful season of change came the 55+ Awesome Autumn Luncheon at Bridgeview’s Community Center. On Wednesday, October 22nd at 11:30am, residents came together to share cozy company, delicious food, and fall-themed giveaways, with U.S. Representative Sean Casten making a special guest appearance to speak with community members!

Hay bales, leaf balloons, corn husks, and other beautiful fall decorations adorned the Community Center. Under the fall orange lights, residents enjoyed mouthwatering barbeque pork, turkey, mac and cheese, mixed vegetables, and rolls from The Patio in Bridgeview. Refreshing water, lemonade, and coffee satisfied every table—which also came fully equipped with slices of pumpkin pie and whip cream!

For dinner and a show, Charles & Company brought musical life to the entire building as residents danced, sang, and laughed the afternoon away. When the band took a break, Mayor Steven Landek introduced Bridgeview’s U.S. Representative, Sean Casten. Congressman Casten gave the crowd an update on his work in Washington, D.C. and picked out random raffle tickets to kick off the fall giveaways in style. Mayor Landek and Village of Bridgeview Trustee Michael Pticek delivered the prizes to lucky attendees as the joyful crowd cheered in support.

The Village of Bridgeview appreciates all who attended for making the 2025 Awesome Autumn Luncheon a pumpkin-smashing success!
