Our Water Plant Operator, William Green, reports that the 2023 hydrant project is complete. The project entailed flushing fire hydrants north of 79th Street between October 25th and November 15th to ensure that the hydrants were properly operable. This routine maintenance involves removing sediments from the water lines so that hydrants maintain the proper water flow and pressure required for emergency situations. Hydrant flushings will continue in other areas of Bridgeview in 2024.
