Kite flyers from all over Bridgeview and beyond gathered at Commissioners Park at 1pm on May 11th for the Bridgeview Park District’s Kite Flying Day. Kites of various shapes, sizes, and colors filled the windy blue sky, with a few people showing off their talented kite tricks. Conditions were perfect for a serene kite-flying experience, and plenty of Bridgeview families had fun alongside Park District staff members flying their own kites. The wonderful Kite Flying Day lifted the spirits of people of all ages.
