Bridgeview’s three-weekend village-wide garage sale known as Treasure Days sailed into September once again for 2025! Hundreds of Bridgeview homes sold objects of all kinds to fellow residents searching for deals and hidden gems, and a pirate crew tossed out gold-covered chocolate coins to the eager treasure-seekers while navigating through the village with their pirate ship every weekend.
Trustee Pinion, dressed as a pirate as she stood alongside Trustee Pticek next to the float, regaled listeners with the backstory of the special Bridgeview days. “I started Treasure Days to make it easy for people to hold garage sales and engage with their community. We always see a great number of people participate, and we’ve seen other communities follow our shining example.”
