Trustee Struzik speaks to the Lucky Luncheon crowd.

Village of Bridgeview Trustee Claudette Struzik announced her retirement at Bridgeview’s Lucky Luncheon after more than 20 years of service at the Village. As a slideshow played on screen showing the various events and works Trustee Struzik has been involved in over the years, Mayor Landek explained to the crowd that Trustee Struzik has always been a straight shooter who will tell you like it is. Trustee Struzik first served as Deputy Clerk for the Village of Bridgeview before becoming the Clerk and later running for Trustee, putting her passion for public service to good use. Whenever there was an issue brought to her attention, she was sure to bring it to the Board’s attention as well.

“I want to thank all of you for supporting me for years as I served the Village of Bridgeview. It has been an honor, and it wouldn’t have been possible without you,” announced Trustee Struzik to the crowd as she began tearing up with a smile.

The Village of Bridgeview appreciates Trustee Claudette Struzik and all the work she has done. The Board, Clerk John Altar, and Mayor Steven Landek wish her a pleasant and relaxing retirement after her final Board Meeting in May of 2025.
