Bridgeview residents 55+ gathered in the Bridgeview Community Center on Wednesday, February 11th at 11:30am for the lovely Valentine’s Day Luncheon hosted by the Village of Bridgeview. Delicious food andlive music from Fred & Friendz* made for a delightful afternoon filled with excitement.
Red lights, valentines-themed balloons, giant stuffed bears, and various heart-shaped decorations adorned the Community Center. Seniors enjoyed a splendid spread from Mama Luigi’s featuring chicken tetrazzini, meatballs, pasta, salad, and buns along with water, lemonade, and coffee refreshed at every table as needed throughout the event. Attendees marked the sweetness of the holiday with delicious homemade sugar cookies in lovely wrapping.
The band Fred & Friendz* provided a mix of energetic and romantic music that brought people of all ages to the front of the stage. People danced, sang, and twirled partners with vigor as they moved to the groove.Freddy’s magnificent vocals brought the music in the air to life with the support of his guitarist and drummer.
Bridgeview residents lucky enough to have their raffle ticket numbers called walked away with lovely Valentine’s Day-themed door decorations and gift baskets with chocolates, stuffed animals, and more. The fun giveaways gave way to lively tunes and slow dancing as the festivities continued. The Village of Bridgeview appreciates all who attended for making the Sweetheart luncheon so wonderful!
