Great save by Argo!

The girls varsity soccer teams of Argo High School and Reavis High School faced off at SeatGeek Stadium the evening of Thursday, May 2nd. Both the crowd and the players appeared excited for the match at the Stadium, with each player’s name being announced over the speakers amid cheers. A thrilling game followed, with the Argonauts scoring two goals in the first half and the Rams responding with one goal of their own.

“The girls were ecstatic,” said Trustee Struzik. “It means so much for these young women to be playing on the home turf of the Chicago Red Stars and score a goal on a NWSL-approved soccer field.”

After an intense back-and-forth, the fun game ended in a 3-3 draw. The Village of Bridgeview thanks the teams for coming to play at SeatGeek Stadium and appreciates the opportunity to support local students and women’s sports.

The moment before a hard strike by Argo.
