The temporary tower holds the cell relays during water tower work.
The reaffixed cell relays cling to the Bridgeview Water Tower.

The resurfacing and painting of the Bridgeview Water Tower in 2024 required the removal of cell relays attached to the tower. Those cell relays play a vital role in maintaining a cellular phone service network, and most were attached to a temporary cell tower put up on the Bridgeview Water Department property while one relay was placed atop the Water Department building. With the water tower work completed, workers recently detached the cell relays from the temporary locations, painted them the blue color matching the water tower, and reaffixed them to their original places on the water tower. Finally, workers took down the temporary cell tower, marking the end of the project.
