Bridgeview residents put on their crowns, capes, and masks and ventured out into the community to ask for candy on a brisk autumn day. With plenty of homes adorned with spooky and terrifying decorations for all to be scared by, residents enjoyed the sights of 12ft. tall skeletons and creepy witches stirring cauldrons as they knocked on doors. Adventure-seekers made sure to check out the most grandly and ghoulishly decorated Haunted Homes by checking Bridgeview’s digital Haunted Homes Map as they explored their spooky neighborhood! The cool fall breeze blew leaves and rattled wind chimes throughout the afternoon and into the evening, further adding to the scariness of the Halloween holiday as darkness slowly settled in, but the only creatures going bump in the evening were costumed community members with smiles on their faces. Bridgeview’s 2024 Halloween proved to be another spooky success!
