As part of the grant that paid for new trees around SeatGeek Stadium, 25 new trees have been planted by Openlands around the Bridgeview Water Department property bordering Thomas Avenue, 71st Street, and Beloit Avenue. Adding the greenery progresses the Village of Bridgeview’s goals of beautifying our community and supporting the environment. The new trees may not look like much in the winter, but along with the native pollinator gardens planted around Village Hall’s sign and the entrance to SeatGeek Stadium, the spring will show just how green the Village of Bridgeview is.
