Bridgeview police officers collected donations for the Special Olympics outside of the Dunkin’ Donuts locations near 80th & Harlem and 79th and Roberts Road the morning of Friday, May 17th. This annual effort is made statewide to support the Special Olympics, and Bridgeview participates every year, explained Village Trustees Patricia Higginson and Norma Pinion who joined officers at Dunkin’ Donuts. “Any difference we can make to add more joy to the lives of others is something we should try and do,” added Trustee Higginson.
