The Soccer Legends Cup is bringing together legendary professional soccer players from Poland and Mexico for a battle for glory at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois. The historic international match will take place on Saturday, May 3rd at 3:00PM CT, with gates opening at 2:00PM CT. 

This grand soccer spectacle will unite the two cultures as the teams face off in celebration of Constitution Day of May 3rd and Cinco de Mayo – two significant dates for the Polish and Mexican communities in Chicagoland. This event promises thrilling competition, delicious cultural foods, and fun for the whole family. Both Poland and Mexico have records of highly competitive soccer teams coming out of their countries, each making attempts to win the World Cup. Mexico has competed in the FIFA World Cup all but four times since the competition’s inception in 1930, with the country’s best results being 6th place in both 1970 and 1986 after making it to the quarterfinals. Poland meanwhile boasts impressive 3rd place finishes in 1974 and 1982 that put Polish soccer on the map.
