A Police and Fire Appreciation Night organized by the Citizens Committee, a community group comprising Bridgeview residents, was held at the Bridgeview Community Center on Friday, May 17th from 4pm to 9pm. The event that honored Bridgeview’s first responders opened with a presentation of the colors by the Bridgeview Boy Scout troop followed by the event’s festivities.

Made by the community for the community, the Police & Fire Appreciation Night served as an open house for all who wished to honor our local police officers and firemen. Residents enjoyed the evening at their leisure with delicious food donated by over 20 businesses and purchased tickets for their chance to win one of over 70 prizes that were donated entirely by Committee members, friends of the Committee members, and the Bridgeview community. The proceeds of the raffle and merchandise on sale will directly benefit our police and fire departments.
