Emanating from Bridgeview’s SeatGeek Stadium on both July 24th and 25th, the back-by-popular-demand DroneArt Show presented a one-of-a-kind Harry Potter™ drone show celebrating the franchise’s first feature film’s 25th anniversary. Featuring music and audio from the film, audience members re-lived the magic of Harry Potter and his wizarding adventures right in their own backyard.
The event brought in large and passionate crowds of Harry Potter fans, robes and wands in tow. As families and fans entered the stadium, they were welcomed with the sounds of Hogwarts as Harry Potter music enchanted the field. Attendees put on their glowing wristbands that synced to the music and were treated to a full hour of drone magic, with a brief intermission for guests to indulge in Potter-themed concessions and merchandise. The famous “butterbeer” nonalcoholic drink quenched the thirsts of fans seeking the wizarding world’s butterscotch-tasting liquid.
Fans who wanted to return to the books that made the franchise possible could also sit back
and listen to the audiobook versions of the Harry Potter novels in the Audible booth resembling the Hogwarts library right on the field!
Laughter, cheers, and amazed gasps erupted from the large crowd as they saw their favorite characters, scenes, and creatures come alive. A giant spider stretched its limbs across the stadium, an orange phoenix rose brilliantly from its ashes, and our hero Harry battled the infamous Dark Lord. The DroneArt Show used 1,200 drones to dazzle the night sky for two unforgettable wizarding nights at SeatGeek Stadium, and we look forward to more drone shows in the future!
