Bridgeview Fire Lieutenant Jason Yerkovich was promoted to Battalion Chief at the March 20th Village Board Meeting, ensuring that the Fire Department is fully staffed with the necessary leadership. Before joining the Fire Department, he was an art director for a magazine, and he painted eagle artwork at the Village Hall during his probationary year. Battalion Chief Yerkovich, who has now spent more than 15 years working for the Bridgeview Fire Department, gave credit to his crew and his family for all their support that he believes got him to the position he is in. The Village of Bridgeview appreciates Battalion Chief Yerkovich’s work and looks forward to seeing him succeed in his new role.
