Los Angeles, CA/Chicago, IL – September 5th, 2023 – PRIMETIME Sports proudly announced today that Tour Rebaño’s international friendly between Liga MX giant Club Deportivo Guadalajara and Club León is sold out. The game will take place on Saturday, September 9th at 6:00 p.m. at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois.
Chivas de Guadalajara is current runner-up of Liga MX’s 2023 Clausura Tournament and besides being one of the most popular teams in Mexico, it is the only Liga MX team that plays exclusively with Mexican players.
Club León, eight times Liga MX champion, won its first CONCACAF Champions League trophy by defeating MLS club LAFC this past June. By winning this prestigious tournament, Club León earned the right to play the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia in December.
There will be a Fan Fest outside the stadium starting at 2:00 p.m. with live music, food, championship trophies, and an autograph-signing session with Chivas legend, Joel “El Tiburón” Sánchez. The game will be broadcast live on Telemundo.
