The Bridgeview Board of Trustees approved the Fire Department’s hiring of Dylan Siroky as a full-time firefighter/paramedic, ensuring that the Department is prepared with the personnel required to respond to emergencies in our community. Siroky, 30, had been working part-time for the Glenwood Fire Department and says it’s meaningful for him to be able to show up and help people having a bad day. He wanted to serve the public as his career, and he is grateful for the opportunity to do so. His first day on the job was April 1st.
